John joined Slade Partners in May 2007 and specialises in Executive Search in education, government and government related organisations.

Education

John has an honorary Doctor of the University from Central Queensland University.

Professional Experience

Prior to joining Slade Partners, John worked for the peak body for Australian Universities, the Australian Vice-Chancellors Committee.  During the period 2000 – 2006 John was the Chief Executive Officer of the AVCC and prior to that was the Deputy Executive Director.

Prior to joining the AVCC, John also worked for Federal Government for approx. 18 years, the majority of that in the education portfolio.
