The Role
The role of Senior Marketing Automation Specialist is to optimise email marketing correspondence to specific audiences. The role will coordinate and project-manage a range of marketing activities to support the audience
marketing activities of the University. This includes the development of user journeys, sourcing content for and building dynamic emails and  personalised landing pages, & using data and analytics to optimise marketing

Key Duties

  • Identify, plan and manage University wide marketing automation implementation opportunities
  • Build dynamic marketing emails and personalised landing pages 
  • Track, monitor and report on key performance indicators set for marketing projects and strategies
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand business requirements and turn them into technical briefs that can be used to build campaigns and journeys
  • Stay up to date on key platform releases and enhancements
  • Contribute expert, specialist knowledge and manage the delivery of innovative and effective marketing content that increases engagement and understanding with the target audiences
  • Plan, create and produce a range of complex, high-quality web-based solutions that assist in the promotion of the University offerings
  • Track and monitor expenditure for marketing projects and activities against allocated project budgets
  • coordinate and project-manage a range of email marketing activities to support the development of the user journey 

What You Will Need 

  • A degree in marketing or public relations with subsequent relevant experience;or extensive experience and management expertise in technical or administrative fields
  • Experience in managing acquisition, engagement and retention automation campaigns, including multi-channel and multi-track campaigns, within a marketing automation system 
  • Substantial experience in conceiving and delivering marketing automation solutions for strategic marketing, enabling integrated multi-channel communications campaigns, including evidence of a solid background in
    managing end-to-end marketing processes
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex stakeholder relationships in an account management or client management role
