Hydraulic Drafter

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Our client is an international multi-disciplined building services consultancy boasting a broad range of project experience across a variety of sectors including commercial, education, health, prisons and airports.  With a very busy workbook secured for the next few years, they are wanting to add a hydraulic modeller to their large multidiscipline drafting team.  Going from strength to strength, they are seeking to add a Hydraulic modeller to their team on a permanent basis. 
 
ABOUT THE ROLE


Working in a dynamic and positive environment, you will be tasked with producing Hydraulic drafting/ modelling for a diverse range of multi-disciplined projects.  Projects are typically medium to large in size, and will offer a good degree of complexity. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Interpreting engineering design from verbal instructions or engineering sketches 
  • All stages of design, documentation and construction for hydraulic services
  • Attend site inspections and site meetings
  • Completion of drafting documentation  

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience working in a building services consultancy
  • 3+ years of experience as a Hydraulic Drafter using Revit for the design of hot/cold water solutions for various building types
  • Relevant experience within the local market Solid understanding of Australian building codes
  • Microsoft Office Skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills  
  • AutoCAD experience beneficial but not essential
