Chris's career spans recruitment consulting and business development roles for global enterprises. He develops strong, ongoing relationships with his clients and is driven to achieve successful outcomes for all stakeholders. His experience of working in industry provides him with valuable insight in his consulting practice, having an understanding of both the technical aspects of a role and the internal mechanics of global organisations.
Chris not only manages executive appointments and technical specialist roles in property and construction, he leads a team of 15 consultants in Slade Group.

Andrew Barr is the lead Consultant in the Slade Education, Government and NFP Practice. Following an early career as a journalist, he turned to education, and has taught and held Principal positions at schools in Victoria, the UK and Tasmania. Andrew was Regional Director of the Round Square Association, National Chair of AHISA and Director of the Principals Australia Institute. He completed a Bachelor of Economics and Master of Education Studies at Monash University and a Diploma of Education at the University of Sydney. Andrew remains very engaged in the NGO sector, including a focus on improving educational outcomes for indigenous children.

Geoff Slade has worked at the forefront of the recruitment industry for over 40 years. He is the Executive Chairman of Slade Group and was awarded a Centenary Medal by the Australian Government in 2000 for services to the recruitment industry.
A Chartered Management Consultant, Geoff is a past President of the Recruitment & Consulting Services Association (RCSA) and was founding Chairman of the industry’s education body. As a tribute to his emphasis on staff training, many of the leading consultants in Australia have worked for and been trained by Geoff at various times in the last three decades. He is also a regular speaker at major industry conferences.
Geoff is a former Chairman and member of Young President’s Organisation (YPO), current Regional Chairman (Australia – New Zealand) and Board Member of the World President’s Organisation (WPO) and a Harvard Alumnus. He is a Non Executive Director of Alzheimer’s Victoria and has held NED appointments on the Melbourne Football Club Board and the Sydney Swans Football Club Board. Geoff is also Chairman of Yellow Folder Research.
