Chris's career spans recruitment consulting and business development roles for global enterprises. He develops strong, ongoing relationships with his clients and is driven to achieve successful outcomes for all stakeholders. His experience of working in industry provides him with valuable insight in his consulting practice, having an understanding of both the technical aspects of a role and the internal mechanics of global organisations.
Chris not only manages executive appointments and technical specialist roles in property and construction, he leads a team of 15 consultants in Slade Group.

Stephen is a Banking & Finance recruitment specialist. Kate has 10 years’ experience in the Human Resources industry working across all HR functions. She was a Senior Learning & Development Consultant for over 7 years at SEEK, Australia’s leading online employment marketplace. Subsequent roles have included Organisational Development Manager at Mercy Health and Head of Learning, People & Culture for a software provider in property management.
Over the years Kate has been responsible for multiple recruitment campaigns and prides herself on recruiting not only to skill set, but also to culture fit. With considerable HR knowledge and experience across multiple sectors including Digital, Healthcare and Tourism, Kate is passionate about career and professional development, understanding that an organisation needs the right people to deliver on its business strategies. After two years of working for a boutique recruitment firm in the UK, Amanda returned home to Australia with a drive to further develop her career within the recruitment industry. She has since provided several businesses across Melbourne and Sydney with quality staff to fill their vital Business Support roles. Amanda has also worked in Social Services and Financial Services, where she gained valuable industry knowledge and an understanding for how Business Support roles are imperative to the smooth running of an organisation. Anita is the Managing Director of Slade Group, and a member of the advisory board. Geoff Slade has worked at the forefront of the recruitment industry for over 40 years. He is the Executive Chairman of Slade Group and was awarded a Centenary Medal by the Australian Government in 2000 for services to the recruitment industry.
A Chartered Management Consultant, Geoff is a past President of the Recruitment & Consulting Services Association (RCSA) and was founding Chairman of the industry’s education body. As a tribute to his emphasis on staff training, many of the leading consultants in Australia have worked for and been trained by Geoff at various times in the last three decades. He is also a regular speaker at major industry conferences.
Geoff is a former Chairman and member of Young President’s Organisation (YPO), current Regional Chairman (Australia – New Zealand) and Board Member of the World President’s Organisation (WPO) and a Harvard Alumnus. He is a Non Executive Director of Alzheimer’s Victoria and has held NED appointments on the Melbourne Football Club Board and the Sydney Swans Football Club Board. Geoff is also Chairman of Yellow Folder Research.
